Heyho.

Since we're all creative  people, may I ask, what are your goals? Your future plans? How are you planning to outlive your creativity in your job, what is your dreamjob?

I myself... (attention, whining ahead.)
Graphic Designer is not my thing. Definitely not. No matter how awesome my fellow workers are, the task just bores me to death. And It's hard, It's no fun, It takes forever, It's complicated as fuck, AND I'm bad at it too.
What should I do now?
I don't want to be a full-time Illustrator. I enjoy doing it from time to time, but it does not fullfill me. I could not do it 24/7. And btw you have to be very lucky to get enough jobs to live of it.
I could write. My writing skills are pretty good (at least, if  I write in german). But I have no education in journalism and no clue how that works in general. My Interests are Animation - which i have no clue of, except I was working in an animation Studio for one day to check if it was something for me... and I adored it. Then of course, my dream, making a comic once. Pretty emberassing because I don't think I have the skills. My biggest Idols are concept artists, comic artists, animators, game designers. These guys ... man... they make having GOD-SKILLS look pretty normal.
I don't think I can ever play in this league. But if I could get at least a bit close to it and do a good job, I'd be the happyest Hinchen on earth.

So... I was thinking of attending a Game Design school after I have survived the final exams of my behated graphic design school.
Is this a bad Idea?
From what I could see on their website, the skills of the average Student are about my level. They teach you how to do animation too. And there's even a course called Comic design! Sounds pretty darn perfect for me. Only thing is that I'm very slow when it comes to learning how a new computer program works, and technical stuff in general. Yep, just imagine your mom. I'm probably as good with computers as your mom is.
But it sounds so good!

Money... will be a medicore problem. The good thing about living in here is that they give away scolarships like you'd asked for a cup of sugar.
But I will not earn money for the next three years. again, and my family has no spare money to shove up my ass...
sigh. I get the feeling I'll be a student forever.

But it sounds so Gooood.
Should I do it, or... oh man.... I need motivation... A little uplift. How are you doing, tell me about your career. Where do you stand now, where do you come from, where do you want to go?
